PENGARUH DAMPAK TINGKAT KEMISKINAN TERHADAP UMKM DI KECAMATAN TANIMBAR SELATAN

Abstract

Poverty is one of the standards of living or welfare standards of society in a region. A community is considered poor if its income is much lower than the average income, thus having few opportunities to improve its welfare. Poverty occurs because of the impacts that influence it, so that there is no community effort to escape the cycle of poverty they face. One of these is the MSME business actors in South Tanimbar. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the poverty level on MSMEs in South Tanimbar District. The research method used was a quantitative research method with data analysis using simple regression techniques. The sample in this study was 34 MSME business actors in South Tanimbar. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument developed from the variable (X) poverty level and the variable (Y) MSME. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the poverty level variable has an influence on the MSME variable in South Tanimbar District, this can be seen through the significance results, namely 0.004 <0.05, this shows that the results of the significance value are smaller than the predetermined significant value and can be seen from the t table and t count, namely t count is greater than t table (3.079 <2.042) so it can be said that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. From the determination coefficient test, it shows that the poverty level has an effect of 22.9% on MSMEs and the rest is influenced by other variables not studied.
