PENGARUH PERTUMBUHAN PENDUDUK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN TANIMBAR

Abstract

Society in a country/region, from the delivery of production factors or after carrying out economic activities. The income is used by the community to meet consumption needs and the rest is savings to meet the future. This study aims to determine the effect of working capital, work experience and selling price on the income of seaweed farmers in Arma Village, Nirunmas District, Tanimbar Islands Regency. The sample in this study was 50 respondents. Data were collected by questionnaire. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression. The results and discussion showed that simultaneously the factors of working capital, work experience, and selling price had a significant effect and were positively related to increasing the income of seaweed farmers. However, partially only the working capital and selling price factors had a significant effect on the income of seaweed farmers in Arma Village, Nirunmas District, Tanimbar Islands Regency. From the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that efforts are still needed to increase the income of seaweed farmers in Arma Village, Nirunmas District, Tanimbar Islands Regency, so the government must maintain and preserve seaweed cultivation land so that it can minimize crop failure and the results obtained by farmers will increase.
